WLA HOLIDAY PARTY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4TH.
Social time 5:30, Pot Luck Dinner 6:00, Yankee Swap 6:30.
It is the time of year to gather for winter! Please bring a dish to share for pot luck - either a main dish, salad, or desert and your own place setting ( to reduce garbage) and beverage. WLA will provide coffee and tea. Also back by popular demand - the Yankee Swap! If you want to participate, bring a $10. gift per person or household.
Board members and Officers will be avalible for questions and there may be a short meetijng to deal with any issues requiring the membership’s attention, but more importantly let’s get together and have some laughs! We’ll have a 50/50 raffle, and a chance to toast the season with your neighbors.
We are able to use the Fox glen Snowmobile clubhouse again and the Snowmobile Club is providing the clubhouse at no cost to the WLA, so we owe them thanks for their hospitality.
The Fox Glen Snowmobile clubhouse is located on Buck & Doe Trail; from rt 3 go 0.8 miles on Weeks Mills Rd. to Buck & Doe Trail, which is on the left. The club is the first building on the left. We hope to see you there!

WLA BOAT LANDING BUFFER PROJECT September 12, 2009
What: Worromontogus Lake Association Boat Landing Buffer Improvement Project
When: Saturday, September 12, 2009
Why: For the sake of the lake.
What: Support the creation of a lake shore line buffer.
How: Bring a smile and a shovel to help prepare rain garden beds, plant,vegetation, spread erosion control, beautify the area.

TOGUS POND ALWIFE RESTORTATION PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING
Tuesday July 28th at Augusta City Center (rm 135) Augusta City Hall 4:30 to 6:30
Staff from Maine DMR and IFW will give a short presentation and answer questions.
WLA members will vote on this important step at the August meeting
WLA ANNUAL PICNIC AUG. 8TH. Meet at the landing at noon. Come by boat, bike, kayak any way you can. Bring a neighbor. WLA will provide Hamburgs and Hot Dogs bring your own drinks. AN IMPORTANT VOTE WILL BE TAKEN ON THE TOGUS DAM FISHWAY.
